Early snow makes it taxing to get my HVAC fixed soon.

A snowfall in November! The two of us didn’t even get a chance to schedule the furnace’s annual checkup or dig out our Winter clothes before we got a snowfall! I’m sure the snow won’t last, at least I hope not, because our HVAC method doesn’t seem to be working as well as it should be.

At least something isn’t working as well as it should because the home is staying frosty, no matter how high I turn the heat up.I set the thermostat on 75 degrees a couple of mornings ago and it still won’t get warmer than 60 degrees in the home and the warm air is barely blowing through the registers.

So, I called the HVAC repair and supply supplier that we usually use and tried to book an appointment. I was told that they are backed up and it would be at least three weeks before we could get an HVAC supplier out here. I tried calling around to other HVAC companies and they are all backed up. In our area, it’s almost time to have your furnace checked and maintained for the upcoming Winter season. It turns out, as soon as it got cold, everybody was calling for maintenance services as well as people prefer us calling in need of repairs. One HVAC supplier did tell myself and others that if the cold and snow continue, they will postpone making routine maintenance calls and focus on repairs. That doesn’t help us now, then fortunately, I have some space heaters, and some Winter clothes, I can pull out in the interim.
