Duct sealing process is non invasive

Last winter, it didn’t matter how high I adjusted the temperature control… There were certain rooms in the apartment that were regularly freezing… My bi-weekly bills were much higher than normal and the oil furnace seemed to run consistently! I noticed that shortly after apartment cleaning, everything got dusty again genuinely quickly and there was a bit of a musty odor to the air, then after googling potential causes for all of these troubles, I was fairly certain that the ductwork was to blame. Since the majority of the ducts are concealed behind walls and ceilings, I had no way to inspect it. I distraught that an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C contractor would tell myself and others they needed to tear my loft apart to maintenance it. I didn’t want to face the mess, disruption and expense of a large construction project. With no other choice, I hired a local Heating, Ventilation plus A/C business who specializes in duct repair. The contractor worked on the ducts and determined that approximately 20% of my heated air was leaking out through holes in the system, he then explained that the duct sealing process is non-invasive. They absolutely seal the holes from the inside. After blocking off the vents, he pumped pressurized air into the ducts. The air is laced with adhesive polymer particles, and as it escapes through flaws in the ductwork, these particles adhere to the edges. They gradually build up to create an airslim seal. The task was completed in around more than one hours and it’s guaranteed for more than nine years. The improvement in the performance of the oil furnace was immediate. My loft is now so much more comfortable, smells better and stays cleaner, plus, my bi-weekly energy bills are significantly lower.
