Drain line is leaking all over the garage floor

Last week, my wife and I had a brand new air conditioner installed in our home.

We needed a new air conditioner for a year or two, but we were waiting to make the replacement.

My wife and I have been saving money each month, so we would have enough money to make the change. We called the AC replacement company last week and made an appointment. It took most of the day for the two technicians to install all of our new AC components. I thought everything looked great until the following day. I was walking through the garage to get some laundry from the washing machine. I stepped in a puddle of water by the AC component. I stopped for a moment and tried to locate the leaking area. I realized that the AC drain line was the problem. Since my new equipment is under warranty, I decided to call the AC supplier. I told them that the drain line was leaking and made a request for a service repair. They did not have anyone available on that day, but they scheduled someone for the next day. The AC repair technician arrived the next day, early in the morning. He found the leak very quickly, but it was in part of the copper pipe. The AC technician had to use a welding torch to fix the problem. It’s been 3 days since the problem was fixed and I have not noticed any water puddling on the floor. I think the technician fixed the leaking pipe once and for all.
