Because of COVID-19, public health officials and the government suggest or require people wear facemasks in public depending on where they live.
In my neck of the woods in the south facemasks are mandated to enter indoor corporations or when social distancing is not feasible, then there has been a lot of pushback across the country about facemask use; People who oppose wearing a facemask usually claim being told to wear 1 is uncomfortable or against their personal freedom. I feel like wearing a mask to protect others around me and to slow down the spread of COVID-19. I’ve tried various weird types of masks to see which 1s are the most comfortable. I noticed this month that wearing a mask inside with air conditioning is the most comfortable time to wear it. I made my way over to the grocery store outside in the heat and humidity and it was quite uncomfortable to wear the mask because I was overheated and covered in body sweat, but I kept it on. As soon as I walked into the air conditioned grocery store it automatically felt more comfortable. At 1 point I even forgot I put the facemask on, due to how cool the air conditioning system was in the store. I understand that masks can get uncomfortable and may not be ideal, however if these men and women are going inside to corporations in the south in the middle of summertime there will absolutely be air conditioning on and that will make it more comfortable. Hopefully people will understand that wearing a mask will protect others and they will feel more comfortable wearing it in air conditioned parts.
