I actually prefer our electric fireplace.
I had the best Christmas season this past year. Not only because everything just went so well, however because I had finally got the electric fireplace that I had consistently wanted to get. I was able to afford plus purchase this electric fireplace a few weeks before the season began. This made it so that I was able to decorate the electric fireplace when I did our home up with all the regular decorations. I was so happy to be able to have some kind of a fireplace, however really to me, fireplaces plus Christmas just go together. It does not matter if it is a real fireplace, a gas fireplace or an electric fireplace. They just go with the holiday season to me; Because I decided on getting an electric fireplace I was able to decorate it as if it were a real fireplace. Had I got a gas fireplace, I would not have been able to decorate it much because of the open flame plus the gas itself. That would be a fire hazard waiting to happen. So this the main reason I ended up investing plus going with an electric fireplace instead of a gas fireplace. I actually prefer our electric fireplace. It also keeps myself and others entirely hot in the freezing times of the year. I can reduce the use of our central heating plus A/C method that time of year as well by using the fireplace in the residing room instead of the central heating. It is amazing to be totally honest. I would highly propose the electric fireplace to anyone.
