I usually care about the hot season however this year, I think I am entirely prepared for winter.
We have had a pretty tepid summer time here.
For weeks on end, the temperatures have been way up in the 80s and 90s and I just honestly do not appreciate that! There’s just something about being overheated that makes me feel entirely like garbage. I honestly care about the fall and the winter months, and I think that it’s because I would rather be freezing than overly hot. When you’re too frosty, it’s way easier to start heating up than it is to start cooling off when you’re too hot. I do not like having to pay for expensive cooling bills in the warm season and my air conditioning equipment is absolutely not a single one of those pricey new high efficiency A/C units that you hear about at times. Mine is a seasoned clunky A/C machine that was in the property when I moved in. Who knows how long it had been installed in the property before I moved in? It was really a single one of the oldest working A/C devices in the state. I should have gotten a medal for it or something! Anyway, this year, I was ready to stop running that seasoned A/C machine and paying for those expensive cooling bills regularly. So when the weather finally began cooling off, I was ecstatic. I’m prepared to switch the temperature control over from cooling to heating and I’m getting the wood burning fireplace cleaned out this weekend. I honestly can’t wait for the falling leaves and bonfires, so bring on the fall season!
