I guess I am an oddball.
When it comes to getting a new place, most of my friend’s favorite part is decorating the entire place.
I will see them bring in boxes full of different things and have a blast finding a spot for everything. I’m not really big into decorating, and I personally find buying new furniture and placing it around the apartment to be a pain. It’s not something I like to deal with, and with my ex girlfriend, she was the opposite. Everything had to be decorated, and we had to have our own furniture. It drove me crazy and made moving miserable. Anyways, now that I am out and on my own, I have decided that I am going to skip the hassle of getting furniture and instead start looking at fully furnished rentals. Ever since I have discovered furnished apartments, it has been a dream come true. I like to keep things simple, and moving into a small apartment that is already furnished is just perfect for me. I know a lot of people will disagree, but I don’t. The only obstacle now is finding furnished homes for rent. There are more empty homes and empty apartments for rent than furnished apartments for rent. I have been checking my local area every few days, and the only ones I saw were a little bit out of my price range. I’m not too worried though, because I know they’re out there, and if worse comes to worse, I will just move out of town to find the perfect place. I’m sure I will find plenty of fully furnished rentals there.
