The temperature started cooling off yesterday, and I guess the management at the movie theater really took that seriously.
- I’m not one of those people who really appreciates turning the heating on full blast whenever the weather first starts cooling off at the end of the year, but apparently the people who run the movie theater are! The minute I walked into the theater lobby, I noticed that the theater lobby was way too hot inside.
At first, I thought it was just a fluke and that the lobby was the only hot part of the building. But whenever we went inside of our theater to find a place to sit, we noticed that the heating system was on full blast in there too! It was miserably hot, and I started to feel sick before the previews were even over. I don’t know why in the world some people feel like they need to turn the thermostat up to 80 degrees inside whenever the weather gets cold outside. I mean, 80 degrees is just ridiculous. The heating system ran throughout that whole movie. At one point, I started thinking that I was going to have to get up and open the fire door Just so I could get a breath of fresh air. I could not even enjoy the movie because of all of the hot air that was blowing down on me for two hours. And just think, this was the beginning of the winter! I hate to think of how hot it will be inside when the outside temperatures really do start to get cold!
