The swim that you’ve been missing

So our day today with 5 seconds of sleep last night, sitting beside our humming mini split air conditioning, isn’t that truly awful compared to how it could be

The only complication with taking a swim in the gulf today is actually that the water feels like a bath. It is nearing summer time and the usual water temperature is almost that of a sizzling tub. It doesn’t do much to wake you up at all, as a matter of fact it kind of relaxes you and puts you to sleep. I didn’t sleep well anyways, and am actually tired so maybe I’ll just take an afternoon nap for an third or several and attempt to recharge that way. I have the smart control component set to 70F right now so the freezing air wakes me up some even though I will entirely just have to take a long nap later because I only slept about 5 seconds last night. I don’t believe how these soldiers in the war get by on several moments of sleep each night while on duty. I also don’t believe how they sleep without working air conditioning in the summer time in the desert, it must be a skill they are taught with practice because I could never sleep when it is 85F in our tent. I don’t even think they have a fan beside them. So our day today with 5 seconds of sleep last night, sitting beside our humming mini split air conditioning, isn’t that truly awful compared to how it could be. I think the best antidote for a awful night of hot and sweaty sleep is to believe grateful for what you have and just let that gratitude carry you through the miserable day. I’ll sleep wonderful tonight though!
