The leaking hybrid HVAC that almost became hazardous

I just woke up and I feel queasy and nauseous, I struggle to get out of bed and into the washroom.

As I fell into the bathroom, the undigested chicken Tikka I had for dinner jetted out of my mouth hitting the back of the toilet bowl.

These were the events of two days ago. I knew this wasn’t typical food poisoning as my entire body was in pain. I crawled to my phone and called the ambulance. After leaving the hospital, I received a report that my poisoning was caused by my hybrid HVAC system. It was producing carbon monoxide which is a harmful gas to humans. The firefighters had switched it off and ensured the house was free from harmful gas. I contacted the a/c rep from the local air conditioning business. Turns out that there was a leak on the duct that was transferring hot gas to areas where needed. The leak was exposing carbon monoxide to the surrounding area. The leak was part of much bigger issues that made the heating and cooling equipment decommissioned from use. The cooling expert recommended that I get quality HVAC equipment. I settled for the ductless mini split which I opted to embed the smart HVAC to help with added efficiency and which would be controlled by the programmable thermostat. From the reviews on the home comfort business website, I felt that this unit was a quality air conditioner. From the website, I also realized there were units for commercial use such as the commercial air conditioning system. The cooling and heating company I dealt with was kind and even offered me a HVAC service plan for the unit and assured me that if I religiously followed the schedule I would find it easy to operate the unit.
