I was broke when I got out of college after seven years, spending most of my financial loans in bars and clubs. I think I was $25,000 in debt when I finally graduated from my university. I really wasnt in a hurry to get into the workfield I was studying for, engineering jobs are not known for their excitement and glamor so much. I was having too much fun in school and was also repeating some classes that I failed to make it to some mornings when I didn’t get to bed yet. Even at 25, I needed to sleep. I was going to my thermodynamics class one morning when I realized I forgot my book for class. The teacher was heating up by the moment, but I maintained my cool and stayed relaxed. I told him that I was doing my homework on compressors and heat exchangers when I looked up at the clock and realized class was about to start. I ran to my living room and turned off my window unit air conditioner because it didn’t have a thermostat on it. Like I said, I was broke when I got out of college and even before getting out. The teacher forgave me after class that day because I showed him how to solve the Rubik’s Cube in under 20 seconds! I still laugh about that air conditioning unit I had in my mobile home.
