Sometimes we have regrets in life.
And sort of have one. I ended up becoming the business manager of a huge hotel chain (which I will not say which one). However, even though this is a fabulous paying job and I am great at it, my original goal was to become a certified heating and air conditioning specialist! I know that sounds strange because that is such a lower paying job compared to what I ended up in. But it is just that I had the desire to get into the heating and air conditioning business like my late uncle had. He had taught me so much about heating and air conditioning growing up and really got me interested in wanting to instal and repair central heating and air conditioning systems for a living! It is kind of one of those “what if” situations. If I had gone that direction would I be as secure job wise as I am today? Would I be able to afford the lifestyle I live? Most likely not on both questions. But it is still in my heart and soul to wanna repair and instal central heating and air conditioning systems! I sometimes will get into deep talks with the HVAC specialists from the local heating and cooling company who service my central heat and a/c system unit. They are shocked that I know so much being the business manager that I am for hotels! Just goes to show you, never judge a book by its cover. I feel I still was a born certified heating and air conditioning specialist!
