It takes money to improve with age

I’ve noticed that a lot of movie stars get better looking as they get older. Especially the men seem to improve with age. I believe that this is mainly because they start earning more money and can suddenly afford to take better care of themselves. A prime example is Tom Cruise, who does all those Mission Impossible movies. When he first started out, he wasn’t nearly as handsome. In movies such as Risky Business and The Outsiders, he’s pale with crooked teeth. Now, he’s always wonderfully tan, with gorgeous hair and perfectly straight teeth. He’s also built much better. I’ve read that he performs his own stunts on all of his movies. He must be in terrific physical shape. I would imagine that he has a personal chef who regulates his diet very carefully. There’s no way Tom Cruise is eating Burger King and snacking on potato chips. I suspect he also has a personal trainer who works with him every day. Tom Cruise’s workouts are certainly planned to deliver maximum rewards. The weights and reps he lifts are surely designed to create the most ideal muscle shape without bulk. The personal trainer most likely incorporates the right amount of cardio to minimize fat and keep him looking sleek. While I work out every day, I don’t have a personal trainer to keep me motivated and determine which exercises are best. I don’t have a nutritionist, personal chef or personal stylist to keep me looking my best. While staying fit and healthy is helping me age gracefully, I’m not improving with every birthday.
