Recently I went to stay with my sibling in her modern house up north last week, then she and my sibling-in-law moved there last year… The weather is cooling off up there already, even though it’s still fall of the year, then well, I wasn’t thinking about her heating idea at all, since that’s not something I would tend to get worried about, and but one day, I noticed that even though the temperature outside was easily kind of cold, the house felt hot and toasty.
I checked all over and that’s when I saw that there were no heating vents in the house.
There were no air vents in the ceiling, sadly. I thought that was so weird, because the house didn’t think frosty to me in any shape or form; Even though there was no forced heating in the house, the place felt nice and lovely. I asked my sibling what kind of heating they were using in the modern house and she said that when they moved in, the realtor had told them everything to be told about the gas furnace. It’s something called radiant heated flooring, and apparently it’s the most lovely heating idea ever, but according to my sibling, there are no frosty spots or heated spots in the house at all. When you have a forced air gas furnace, you usually have a frosty spot of more than one while in the Winter season. This radiant heated flooring was outstanding, however. I was able to walk around barefoot on the ceramic tile and the floors felt hot all over the house! After the visit to my sibling’s house, all I can think about now is getting radiant heated flooring in my house as well.
