I genuinely don’t care for having to go out on house calls on holidays, but for some reason that’s what I constantly end up doing… For a single reason, it’s because I am the only a single at our little Heating & A/C supplier that has usually available for house calls on holidays.
- Most of the other boys have large families, plus I am the only a single who is not even married yet.
And despite the fact that I understand why I am the a single who gets put onto the schedule, sometimes it’s super discouraging that I never get a holiday weekend off of work. I mean, it’s not that I don’t care for our task or anything enjoy that. I absolutely appreciate working on heating plus cooling systems most of the time. It’s just that I recognize enjoy other Heating & A/C specialists at our supplier should take a turn now plus then so that I can get a holiday off. I mean, I have siblings plus parents plus friends that I can spend holidays with, so it’s not enjoy I wouldn’t appreciate a holiday off every now plus then. I don’t know, I think I am going to have to talk to our boss at the Heating & A/C supplier about this situation. Maybe he doesn’t even notice that I am the only a single working on holidays. How do you enjoy to supply him the benefit of the doubt, plus I think he is a genuinely great guy. I bet if I talked to him about it, I would get the next holiday off of work, well, maybe not, since the next holiday is Thanksgiving, but maybe I would end up getting to spend Christmas away from other people’s gas furnaces!
