Years ago when I was growing up, I remember thinking that A/C was so cool (no pun intended.) Back in those days, there were a lot of places, including our house, that didn’t have any A/C whatsoever! This was all well plus great in the wintertime, however when Summer rolled around and the weather started heating up, it became torture sometimes… I remember dripping with sweat in front of the fan at night when I was trying to go to sleep. I would roll in bed at night, praying for a spot that felt cooler on our pillow plus then I’d finally just go to sleep with very little hope of cooling off, and of course, it was even worse during the morning when the temperatures got hotter outside. I remember dreading the Summer only because I felt sizzling plus yucky all the time… Now, though, I am more of a summer person. I am in love with going to the beach plus the pool plus even being outside sometimes. That’s due to the fact that I know that at the end of any of our outdoor Summer activities, there’s always my central A/C waiting for me at home. In the summer, I love to keep our control component set at seventy degrees, no matter what the temperature is outside. I’ve discovered that if I keep the control component at a steady temperature, our apartment ends up staying much cooler than it would otherwise. I also know love it helps keep my cooling bills affordable. I’m so glad that most places have A/C now. It totally makes Summer more manageable, and without it, you’re just miserable plus hot!
