I have been working in the HVAC field as a certified heating and air conditioning specialist for over 40 years now.
- And it is coming close to finally being able to retire! I am counting the days on my calendar until the big day of retirement comes.
I am about a little less than 6 months away and I can not wait! Not that I don’t enjoy installing and repairing central heating and air conditioning systems. This was my whole life’s career! However, there comes a time where you hit your upper middle age and it is time to just enjoy whatever you have left of life. You paid your dues and you are ready to stop working and slaving away. This can be for any career. Heating and air conditioning business like me or even a general office worker or doctor. It doesn’t matter. We all have to retire someday so long as we have a pension fund that came with our job. And lucky for me that mine actually did. From what I know, the folks at the heating and air conditioning company I have worked for all these years are going to give me a big retirement party. I am not supposed to know this, but I was tipped off by a work buddy. It makes me feel good that the heating and air conditioning company respected me and valued my work all these years. You don’t get that at every job you work at you know. So I am very happy about this. Nearly 6 months to go and I can not wait!
