A lucky find

Because I was purchasing the item secondhand I was able to get a beautifully customized piece for a fraction of the cost of having it built myself.

I am always looking to get a deal on anything I want to purchase. Paying full price for something is just like throwing money in the garbage in my opinion. For this reason I am often found scouring online marketplaces and even garage sales for items for my home. I was recently at one of these sales when I came across a very unusual dinette set. You could tell that it was handmade and the size was very different from any that I had seen before. When I inquired about it to the owner they said that it had been custom-made for they’re dining group which was a very long and narrow space. The craftsmanship that went into the peace was simply astounding and I I decided right then and there that it would fit perfectly in my sunroom. Because I was purchasing the item secondhand I was able to get a beautifully customized piece for a fraction of the cost of having it built myself. I love the fact that I would be able to seat many of my friends for luncheons and other events held in my favorite room of the house without taking up too much space. I felt lucky to find this unique piece and never thought I would be able to afford something like that on my own. The previous owners were happy that it was going to someone who would appreciate it and even though they had paid a significant amount to have is made they didn’t mind selling it to a good home.
