Every couple of weeks, I find it necessary to travel to Tampa. I need to meet up with buyers or investors and I usually find myself in Tampa for an entire weekend. The one thing I really don’t like about going to Tampa is the driving because the traffic is the worst. It seems like every tourist in the area is out on the interstate and the highways. It doesn’t even matter what season it is. Winter, spring, summer and fall, there are tourists in the Tampa area, but summer is the absolute worst. We hold most of our meetings in the conference rooms in the Hyatt Regency in downtown Tampa. I meet there with my purchasers about once a week. I have often wished that we could choose somewhere other Tampa that is right off the interstate. Our investors and purchasers like being able to be entertained. Tampa has an array of eating establishments, bars and entertainment spots so we have many places to entertain clients. Not too long ago, I spent an entire weekend in Tampa. Since it was the middle of August, I had decided to rent a car for the weekend because the air conditioning in my car wasn’t working very well. There was no way I wanted to be stuck in traffic, in a car without air conditioning, in Florida. I think that is the worst thing I could ever think could happen. I was so glad I had rented this car because I ended up on the I-4 for nearly three hours. A large truck had overturned and it was full of fruits. I was glad it wasn’t filled with gas or something. I know the accident would have been so much worse.
