The solution was a ductless heat pump

My apartment has always been a horrible place to heat plus cool.

Some of the areas have an insufficient number of ducts to deliver enough airflow to keep comfort. A few of the rooms aren’t even linked to the duct system. Since I was not willing to update the oil furnace plus cooling system or reconfigure the whole duct system, I looked into some simpler plus cheaper options. I simply wanted to improve the comfort of a couple of the rooms plus maybe cut utility costs a bit. I didn’t want to rip into walls, ceiling, take out pressing home improvement loans or deal with a big project. A little research online led me to a ductless heat pump. This system consists of a compact outdoor unit that connects to a single or many lightweight and streamlined indoor air handlers by way of a conduit. The only needs are mounting capabilities, access to electricity plus a 3-inch hole in the exterior wall to deal with the conduit. Since the conduits are available in extensive line lengths, there’s great versatility in the location of the indoor air handlers. Each indoor air handler has an independent control unit that permits personalized, room-by-room temperature control. The system operates silently, provides both heating plus cooling capability and is exceptionally energy smart. Utilizing adaptable speed gear, the compressor is able to automatically change capacity to meet the exact needs of the certain room, and by running at lower speeds for longer cycles, it keeps consistent comfort!
