My family is here and we can come up for a month in Winter time so that the kids could appreciate their Winter time activities.These are the thoughts that occurred to me as I was running errands the other day
I was ready to move south. I was sleepy of long, cold winters, of snow and ice. I knew I would miss the beautiful fall colors, but, I could look at pictures, right? I do not appreciate the cold at all. My partner has done his best to keep me comfortable; Every one of us have a fairly new Heating and A/C plan that we have tested by an Heating and A/C contractor every year. Every one of us also have heated flooring throughout our home. Every one of us even had a couple of great quality space heaters, “just in case”. Because, as soon as the temperatures outside dip below 65 degrees, I am cold. My partner thinks that is the perfect temperature to open the doors and windows and I think that’s the perfect temperature to turn the heat on! So, my loft is well heated while we were in winter. But, I can’t stay in my home all the time. The kids appreciate to sled, and ice skate, and snowmobile and I’m not going to take away from their pleasure just because I don’t appreciate the cold. But, in the south, they could sled on hills on cardboard boxes, roller blade and four wheel all year long. The could also spend more time swimming, playing frisbee, and shooting baskets, all things they appreciate to do. I absolutely think that I will talk to my partner about transferring to a warmer weather conditions. I realize now how selfish my thoughts were. I should guess fortunate to have such a comfortably sizzling home and such a great heating system. The air conditioner works pretty well too.
