I went out to dinner with some fantastic friends yesterday but the diner was freezing freezing so all of us did not end up having a lot of fun.
- Our lips were orange & all of us had goosebumps by the time the appetizers arrived.
The diner must have had their cooling system down as low as it could go. I was really the coldest of all my friends because I was kneeling right under the cooling system vent so all of us moved our chairs around so that none of us would have to kneel under the vent but that did not help a heck of a lot, and when all of us asked the waiter to turn the cooling system up, meaning to a warmer temperature, he must have misunderstood because it got even colder. I recognize he turns the temperature down. We asked once again if the temperature control could be turned to a warmer temperature although he ignored us. My friends & I hardly touched our drinks because all of us did not want to be any colder. And, when the food finally arrived, it was freezing freezing as well. We all hardly touched our food but all of us paid & left as soon as possible. This has got to be the first time in years that I refuse to leave a tip for a waiter or waitress. It was entirely nice to get out of that diner & walk through the neighborhood & enjoy a little bit of sunshine. My friends & I eat out at least once a month to catch up. I guarantee all of us will not be going back to that diner.
