The side of the office building that I work at is consistently uncomfortable… Apparently the temperature control in this office doesn’t work right because our side of the building doesn’t seem to get any a/c or heating, but management works on the comfortable side of the building plus they keep the thermostat set at a temperature that is comfortable for them… Us subordinates have to suffer without satisfactory heating or a/c, however our side of the building does have heating plus a/c vents, however the air never seems to get to us for some reason! In the Summer the two of us dress down in the lightest clothing allowable.
In the Wintertide the two of us use blankets plus portable furnaces just try plus stay comfortable… The portable furnaces blow the fuses though plus the directors keep getting mad at us for using them.
I suppose several times in 1 week was the final straw because management finally decided to call out an Heating as well as Air Conditioning maintenance supplier to come plus look at the issue. The Heating as well as Air Conditioning serviceman found out that the air duct is completely clogged off leading to our side of the building. It is full of dust, debris plus even seasoned paperwork dating back to the 20th century. Apparently somebody thought the air duct was a garbage can. Anyhow, once the ducts were all cleaned out, the entire office building started feeling much more comfortable. I believe care about I might absolutely not freeze to death while doing our job now, then nonetheless, it’s pretty nasty that the air duct hadn’t been cleaned out plus at least 30 years, and you would guess that something an office director would make sure was taken care of at least every few years; But then again, nothing surprises me at this job anymore.
