The side of the office building that I work at is always uncomfortable, apparently the temperature control in this office does not work right because my side of the building does not seem to get any air conditioning or heating… Management works on the comfortable side of the building & they keep the control device set at a temperature that is comfortable for them, then us subordinates have to suffer separate from reasonable heating or air conditioning, then our side of the building does have heating & air conditioning vents, however the air never seems to get to us for some reason! In the Summer both of us dress down in the lightest clothing allowable.
In the Wintertide both of us use blankets & portable furnaces just try & stay comfortable, and the portable furnaces blow the fuses though & the managers keep getting mad at us for using them. I believe numerous times in one month was the final straw because management finally decided to call out an Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C repair corporation to come & look at the issue. The Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C specialist found out that the ductwork is completely clogged off leading to our side of the building. It is full of dust, debris & even old paperwork dating back to the 20th century. Apparently somebody thought the ductwork was a garbage can. Anyhow, once the ducts were all cleaned out, the entire office building started feeling much more comfortable. I guess love I might entirely not freeze to death while doing my job now. Nonetheless, it’s pretty nasty that the ductwork had not been cleaned out & at least 30 years, you would believe that something an office manager would make sure was taken care of at least every few years… But then again, nothing surprises myself and others at this job anymore.
