Most of them sent out workers to make measurements & provide a free quote on the spot. A few other companies gave me general price tiers for many systems based on size, SEER rating, & the amount of HVAC duct to be installed. Eventually, we chose one of the companies that gave us an in-person estimate. All of us still paid more than I would have liked in the long run, however we found a more reputable Heating, Ventilation & A/C company in the process.
