It was overheated and miserable in the vaccination place

My family & I waited a very long time to receive the covid-19 vaccination shot. We eventually had the opportunity just last weekend when the health department decided to change up the rules… I spent numerous hours online attempting to make an appointment for my family & I. The group of us had to drive a few hours to the next town in order to get our vaccinations fast. I made an appointment for everyone in my family on the same day. We made our way to the vaccination site. Inside the room, the temperature was terribly warm. In fact, the entire area was far too warm, humid, & stuffy. The massive auditorium had roughly 300 people inside & it was pretty difficult to social distance. I tried to find a site to kneel under an AC air vent, however I actually wasn’t able to find a spot with a free seat. All of the chairs were taken by people that already received their vaccination shot. I had to basically rest in line with everyone else that was there. By the time I sat down with a healthcare worker to get stuck, I was perspiring a great deal. The healthcare worker asked if I was feeling okay & I told the guy that it was too overheated due to the lack of air conditioning in the place. He agreed with me on that point & said the site was having a hard time with the indoor air temperatures all through the day. She apologized for the incredibly humid atmosphere & stuck a needle in my arm. After I was eventually done, I was able to kneel in the air conditioned area with the other folks. They made everyone kneel & wait for at least an hour after the shot so they could monitor everybody for side effects.
