I just recently moved about numerous hundred miles west of where I grew up, and it is so odd to me.
- It actually does feel love another culture.
I hope that I get used to it soon, but it feels love it may be awhile before I adjust! One of the biggest swings is the temperature. It is entirely crazy to me that I am not freezing right now. It is the middle of November, plus I still have not turned on our gas furnace, and growing up, both of us would turn on our gas furnace in September! All of us waited as long as both of us could, but there were several times when freezing un-even temperatures hit us by mid or the end of September. I can remember trying to stay hot at evening before both of us turned our gas furnace on; Some evenings in early September dropped below freezing, however now that I live here, I have not once been cold during the evening yet. It is pretty nice. I looked at the forecast for the next several mornings, plus it says that it will not get below forty degrees. In 1 sense, I hope that it does not , but on the other hand, I sort of hope that it does. I miss the cold weather. I recognize I have a prefer hate relationship with the cold. I have heard from some friends that they do not turn on their gas furnaces until mid February. Only some of our friends still have their a/cs out, plus they use them almost every single day, however they feel that seventy degrees is hot enough to use plus a/c which does not make sense to me. I put our a/c in storage a few weeks ago, plus I do not plan to use it until next summer.
