What can I do about my stolen a/c right now? I am so frustrated about my stolen a/c right now.
- I never could have expected my friend to truly steal my a/c.
I was just going to let my friend briefly borrow the a/c. It isn’t as if I had extra window a/cs to spare. I let my friend kindly borrow the window a/c that was in my living room. He told myself and others that he and his wife couldn’t afford to replace the a/c for a few more weeks, but obviously since they just had a newborn, plus they felt that they needed to deliver an a/c for their poor newborn baby. I totally understand why they wanted to have an a/c, plus that is why I originally decided to let him borrow the a/c. However, I had no method to know that my friend was going to take the a/c plus leave. He truly moved away with my a/c out of the blue. I would have never suspected that my friend was a thief until he decided to go off and steal my a/c. I was honestly frustrated about it, but I don’t feel now that there is anything that I can do. How would I ever find out where my friend is? Also, what cop would believe myself and others if I told them that my friend randomly stole my a/c. My a/c is old plus junky, plus I don’t have a receipt for it. If my stupid friend told the cops that the a/c was his, it would be my word versus his, plus I really doubt that the cops would do anything about the a/c. I simply assume that I am going to have to buy myself a new a/c.
