I really hate the HVAC units that are on the airplane. I just don’t understand why they can’t just make the temperature on the airplane normal from the beginning. I am sure that the airplane has great HVAC units, but they always seem to set the starting thermostat wrong. Anytime that I have been on a plane, the temperature is always extreme because of the thermostat setting. Sometimes, you will get lucky, and the airplane will be too warm. This is usually because they have the heating system on because airplanes usually become cold when they reach a higher altitude. Mainly, they rely on a heating system to keep people comfortable. If you find that the heating system is making you too warm, you could always turn the air conditioner on. However, an air conditioner in the coach section of the airplane is different from a normal air conditioner. The air conditioner is actually just a little nozzle that you can adjust to get cold air to blow directly on your head. The air conditioner isn’t convenient, but it will work to cool you down quickly. However, if you are unlucky enough to get on a plane that is already cold, you will be sad to learn that there is no heating system to keep you warm. The only thing that you can do when the temperature is too cold is to ask for one of those tiny blankets. They won’t keep you very warm, but since you don’t have the option of the heating system, then this will have to do. Riding on an airplane really makes you appreciate the HVAC units in your own house.
