I broke the furnace on accident, and I am afraid that my dad is going to kill me when he sees the broken furnace.
I can’t even say that it was an accident.
I should have never been touching the furnace in the first place. I have no idea why I decided to try to fix the furnace. I wanted to be an HVAC technician when I grew up, but I have never even worked on a furnace or a central air conditioner. I was home alone, and I thought that it would be cool to take apart the furnace and see how it works. I have never taken the furnace apart, and I doubted that my dad would let me take apart the furnace just because I was curious. That is why it was perfect timing that I was home alone. The only thing that I was worried about while taking apart the furnace was that I would not be able to put the furnace back together. Then, my parents would definitely know that I would have messed with the furnace. Looking back, not being able to put the cover back on the furnace should have been the least of my worries. I should have actually been worried that I would have broken my furnace unintentionally. When I took apart the furnace, the furnace was definitely working. I am not quite sure what happened, but taking off one part was harder than I thought that it would be, and I think that I accidentally broke something. I hurried to put everything back together again, but now, the furnace will not turn on. I could try to lie to my parents and claim to know nothing about the furnace, but I am a terrible liar.
