I love watching soccer matches. I wouldn’t say I’m a fanatic about it and I am going to run onto the field. But, I adore going to a nice tailgate and being at the soccer match with friends and family. When my favorite soccer team made it to the playoffs this year, my sister surprised myself and my other siblings with tickets. My sister even purchased enough for me to take my boyfriend with me. When I was watching the weather for the game, I saw that it was going to be chilly and cold. I was bummed, although I knew I could dress well in order to stay hot and comfortable. I decided to wear more than one pair of socks, my rainboots, more than one shirt, a hat, and a rain jacket. I knew I’d be able to stay warm and dry with these layers! On the day of the game, I put my layers on and met my sister at her house for the match. When I arrived, my sister eyed me up with my outfit, but did not say anything. At the location, my sister handed myself and my boyfriend our tickets and I was in a state of shock! Our seats weren’t in the chilly and rainy weather, but in a box! Both of us had seats that were regulated by heat and air conditioning, so we were able to watch the game comfortably while other people were getting rained on. I felt a little sad for all the people standing in the cold, but I was entirely thankful for that temperature controlled box seat.
